1. Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy defines the required standards of behavior, platform interaction, and on-site venue conduct for all attendees, registered delegates, exhibitors, speakers, and guests participating in Kuttanadan Tech Fest 3.0 (KTF 3.0), organized by the AKESSIA Alappuzha District Committee.
Our objective is to deliver a safe, productive, technically enriching, and ecologically responsible summit aboard our designated luxury cruise vessel, Houseboat Vembanad Emperor.
2. Digital Portal & Ticketing Conduct
When accessing or using the event portal (www.kuttanadantechfest.in), you agree NOT to:
- Submit Fictitious UTRs: Providing falsified, altered, or duplicate UPI transaction reference numbers is strictly prohibited and constitutes fraud.
- Scrape or Probe: Use automated bots, scrapers, or security tools to harvest attendee names, brute-force access codes, or disrupt portal functionality.
- Unauthorized Organizer Access: Attempt to gain access to the restricted administrative dashboards (
/login,/dashboard,/gate-checkin) without verified credentials. - QR Pass Duplication: Share or duplicate issued entry QR codes for multi-person admittance. Each pass contains a cryptographic identifier valid for a single scanned entry only.
3. Venue Houseboat Structure & Dual-Deck Allocation
The venue vessel Vembanad Emperor is a customized twin-deck luxury cruise boat. Both decks are fully air-conditioned throughout the event. Please note that there is no open-air sundeck on this vessel.
Dedicated exclusively to technology manufacturer exhibition booths, testing rigs, and live hardware demonstrations (CCTV, biometrics, fiber optics, IoT access). Attendees must respect exhibitor hardware, keep gangways unblocked, and avoid crowding around testing benches.
Dedicated to technical workshops, expert seminars, keynote addresses, and networking. Delegates can also relax and enjoy panoramic views of the scenic Kuttanadan lakes, backwaters, and traditional villages through the panoramic glass windows.
4. Onboard Vessel Safety & Maritime Regulations
As a passenger aboard an inland cruise vessel navigating Vembanad Lake, all attendees are required by Kerala Maritime and Port regulations to follow these safety protocols:
- Strict Compliance with Crew: Immediate obedience to all instructions given by the licensed boat master/captain, vessel crew, and AKESSIA safety marshals.
- Safety Equipment: Life jackets, life buoys, and emergency firefighting gear are stationed throughout both decks. Tampering with or misusing safety equipment is strictly prohibited.
- No Leaning Over Railings: Never lean over side railings or sit on bulwarks while the vessel is in motion.
- Strict Punctuality: Boarding at Punnamada Finishing Point Jetty commences at 09:30 AM. The vessel departs promptly at 10:15 AM. Late arrivals who miss departure cannot be boarded via speedboats due to lake safety regulations.
5. Ecological Preservation & Zero-Littering Mandate
The Kuttanad backwaters and Vembanad Lake form a fragile, globally recognized Ramsar wetland ecosystem. We enforce a Strict Zero-Tolerance Policy against water pollution:
★ Absolutely No Plastic or Waste Disposal into Water:
Throwing plastic bottles, cups, napkins, food waste, or any foreign material into the lake or surrounding canals is strictly forbidden. Please use the color-coded waste bins provided inside the air-conditioned decks.
6. Prohibited Substances & Hazardous Items
The following items and practices are strictly prohibited onboard:
- Smoking & Vaping: Cigarettes, cigars, bidees, and electronic vaping devices are strictly prohibited anywhere inside the fully air-conditioned decks.
- Alcohol & Narcotics: Consumption or possession of alcohol, illegal narcotics, or controlled substances is strictly banned. Intoxicated persons will be denied boarding without refund.
- Flammable & Dangerous Items: Firecrackers, open flames, combustible gases, or unauthorized high-voltage heating equipment are not permitted.
7. Professional Decorum & Anti-Harassment Policy
KTF 3.0 is a premier professional summit dedicated to peer networking and technological advancement. We are committed to providing a respectful, harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of gender, religion, technical experience, or association role.
Harassment in any form—including verbal insults, disruptive speech during seminars, non-consensual photography, or intimidation—will result in immediate pass revocation and disembarkation at the nearest available jetty, without entitlement to any refund.
